Say goodbye to old fashioned & daunting dental visits.
Over 36 years of excellence.
Dr. Michael Nick has been practicing dentistry in Lincoln Square for more than 36 years. Over the years his passion for dentistry and for educating patients has only grown. His patient base can agree that he is one of the friendliest and most enthusiastic guys you'll ever meet. He loves what he does and, moreover, loves getting to know his patients. Dr. Nick has had the privilege of treating multiple generations of families over his career.
Dr. Nick has had the privilege of treating multiple generations of families over his career. Speaking of family, Doc Nick has a massive one. He and his lovely wife, Patsy, have six children and five grandchildren. Dr Nick is one proud father and papa. Over the past 36 years, he's shared countless stories and laughs with his patients about the Nick kids. Mike, Molly, Casey, Maggie, Annie, and Johnny have witnessed their fathers pride in his work and his pure admiration for his patients. So much so, that two of the six kids have followed in his footsteps. Mike, (Michael J Nick,Jr.), the oldest of the bunch, attended dental school and then continued to the University of Iowa's residency to become an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. Michael Nick Jr and Sr now enjoy an amazing referral relationship in addition to their father-son bond.
Dr. Nick's daughter Casey (Cathleen Nick), number 3 of the 6, graduate attended dental school and was practicing in Michigan as both a cosmetic dentist and a cosmetic injector. Casey shares her father's passion for dentistry, and after working in a medspa doing cosmetic injections, PDO threads, and microneedling her eyes were opened to the benefits of a spa environment. Dr. Casey always dreamed of working with her father, but had a vision of doing dentistry differently. Both Dr. Casey Nick and Dr. Michael Nick have had patients throughout the years express their fear and hatred of dentistry. While some dentists are offended by that sentiment, this father daughter duo saw it as an opportunity to combine their experiences and do better for their patients. Once Dr. Casey and her father Dr. Nick found this location just blocks from Dr. Nick's original office, they knew this was their chance to make their dental/spa dream a reality. Together the two were able to meet with a dental builder, architect and design team to hand pick every detail of the new build out. Their goal was to create an inviting atmosphere that felt nothing like an old fashioned daunting dental visit too many patients have had to dread coming to. At Lincoln Square Dental Spa, all are welcome. The father daughter duo make a perfect pairing of old-school tried and true techniques matched with cutting edge cosmetic procedures and technology. At Lincoln Square Dental Spa, you're not just a number, you matter and you are deserving of our time and focused attention. Your dental and cosmetic goals are our goals and we want to make the smile of your dreams a reality. We want to empower you with the education and tools needed to maintain a healthy mouth and to have pride in your smile. Look good, feel good and have a little fun along the way. This father-daughter led dentist team will make you feel like one of the family and change the way you think about dentistry.

What is your favorite procedure to perform? Anything that alleviates a patient’s pain is always so rewarding.
Electric Toothbrush? I think they’re equally as effective as the manual tooth brush *if* used correctly! I personally use a manual.
What is the most cavities you've had in one visit? I’ve only had 3 my whole life!
What is your favorite part of the new office? The glass wall windows! I love the natural light it just brightens everyday.
Who is your dentist? My daughter Casey of course! I’ll be doing my own smile makeover with her in the near future and cannot wait.

What is your favorite procedure to perform? I love any procedure that makes a patient feel more confident about themselves especially smile makeovers, Botox and filler appointments!
Electric Toothbrush? Not for me actually! I like the standard manual toothbrush with soft bristles!
What is the most cavities you've had in one visit? Gosh I think as a kid I’ve had 4 at once. I was not as serious about my brushing and flossing at the time!
What is your favorite part of the new office? I really love working with my dad, it’s always been a dream but the fact that it’s finally a reality has been really special.
Who is your dentist? my dad of course!
